I was born in the Philippines and lived there 'til I was about 15, and if you’d told me then that someday I would be doing what I’m doing now, I never would have believed you. I became a speech-language pathologist and my husband Chris was a software developer. And as we started our married life together in the U.S. I thought, “Okay, this is great... this is what our parents wanted us to do, right?”
